Changing out a Glock 26 front sight

I am about to order a tritium sight for my winchester 1200 and I see a tritium front sight for my Glock at Brownells and want to order it too if it will also be a "do it yourself job"

    Thanks

You have the standard non-nightsight on it right now? If so, it just pops right off. Pull the slide off and take a look. You'll see what I mean.

Did any 26's come with the hex screw front sight? Even then, it's not hard to remove.

Hopefully it will work and not shoot off. The new sight has a hex screw, I used locktite and the best tools that I have to tighten it, it seems pretty snug. Removal was easy thanks to that video. I will report back if it falls off at the range and I lose it in the dirt (ugh).

Go for it. Worse comes to worst and it doesn't work out as well as you would have liked, take it to a gunsmith.
