    Question ABout a Handgun

A few years back I received my Grandfathers Colt 1903 32ACP handgun, I never really had the need to get it registered in my name but now I am looking at getting my CCW. My question is how do I know if the 1903 is on the "OK" list so I can register it and then have it on my CCW?

as far as I know, It doesn't have to be on the list. Only Handguns being brought in from out of state that has to be on the roster. Someone will chime in who's more knowlegdable on this matter.

does not need to be on the approved list in order to register it.

Some counties will only allow handguns that are on the approved list to be listed on your CA CCW permit.

Some counties will only allow handguns that are registered to you to be listed on your CA CCW permit.

All depends on what county you live in and are applying to.
