Browning Medalists in 100% condition are selling for between $1,100 and $1,200 including the black carrying case with all the accessories (barrel weights, screw driver, loading block, etc.). I saw three at the most recent Reno show. The factory original magazines, if you have an extra, are going for $150.

The collectible price of a Medalist is determined by the condition and the accessories that come with it (original red velvet box, weights, tools, loading block). Without that I'd say between $500-800. I'd say in this economy your price is alright. The gun was great for Bullseye at the time. I saw one sell for around $450 on consignment (didn't last long). People prefer red dots these days and the rib makes it almost impossible to mount anything. Still an accurate gun. Original magazines are expensive though.

I bought the Browning Medalist shown below about 17 years ago for $700. I would guess a value of $1000 today, based on the few that I have seen for sale over the years. Mine has the original box with barrel weights and velvet lining. The gun is an extremely accurate .22 target gun, in the same league with the S&W model 41 which I used to own. I believe the Medalist was last produced about 1975 by Browning.
