    Building a pistol?

In order to assemble any kind of pistol do you have to be 21? I really want to own a firearm that would be concealable while on my property all I have is a shotgun. I know probably a stupid question but I could not find an answer by searching the forums. If not more money for the AK fund.

Why do you want to "build one" ??? Have your dad buy you one and give it to you. Perfectly legal. Or mom, or grandparents.

I know that but sadly they won't do it. My dad even owns a .38 and two .22 pistols and I know 100% he won't. My mom won't do it and have been trying to convince Grandma but no success. This really pisses me off I can buy an 870 but no handguns. I wish the Second Amendment was respected but sadly that is not the case. There is no logical reason I should be forbidden from purchasing a handgun.

You just need to be 18. You also need to fully research and understand all Federal and state laws regarding home built firearms BEFORE you start.

Do your parents and grandparents know something we don't?

Is it your property or your parents property? If it's their property and you're living there, they set the rules and you have to abide by them. If it's your property and you support yourself, you have every right to build your pistol.

Going against the wishes of your parents and grandparents is going to cause you nothing but grief. You're still very young. In time you'll have the firearms you want when you're on your own. Keep the peace within your parents household while you live there.

Just some friendly advise. Take it or leave it.

I just live with my mom and she knows about the shotgun so you know nothing she doesn't. She is weird and says she is too busy and other excuses about the handgun. She has no fear or problem with guns she is from Arizona. My mom owns the property but like I said she knows about the firearm I already have.

Really I just want to build one because the state won't let me buy one and I want to correct this injustice. I feel like the disarmament crowd wins every time someone can't purchase a firearm because of some stupid law.
