ordering a customized pistol on the approved list

A friend of mine was about to order nighthawk custom GRP with an ambi safety and magwell extension, but the dealer told him that it wasn't legal because it wasn't submitted to approval with those features. Does anyone know if this is true, I know that I went to another dealer and asked him If I could order it this way and he said that I could. Any one know the real answer

GRP / Steel and GRP RECON / Steel are on the list.

Print it out and show the dealer.

I dont know what that approved configuration includes but if those features are not on it, it is not legal to purchase it that way. Buy the approved config first and then send it back later for mods. That is legal.

Yup. Really the only changes that can be made are grips/sights.

Buy the authorized/approved version of the gun and then install the parts on it.

          As always, Bill is correct.

Buy it then send it back for any upgrades you wish.

You should be able to work out a deal on this, especially with Nighthawk. I don't think they will refuse to pick up the extra shipping cost.

I went thru the same thing ordering a custom CZ
