            actually it looks more like a Austin Behlert Customized 1911 Colt Pistol. based on the textured pattern under the finger groove. the safari is smooth and the colt has that textured area both in the front and the back of the frame.




            that enforcer looks really close. but there is some differences in the hammer that make me think its a colt model. ima keep looking. did you try to email the auction holder on gunbroker. i mean its probably his pistol in the pic.

                Oh and that colt has a full size frame, was it ever made in an officers model??

                  It is deffinatly an enforcer, the finger groove lump is sharp like an enforcer and the cast lower frame checkering is the same. They are Officers size. They were sold mostly as frames or kits but complete guns were also sold. there were similar frames built by Caspian and Detonics actually before Colt came out with the officers model.
