    Stamp Law?

So is the law going into effect in a few weeks, will we not be able to buy semi-autos unless they have the stamp mechanism?

If a person buys one under the wire but pistol is on back order, would this still be legal to accept when shipped in a few months?

    Thank you.

Law isn't able to go into effect yet, as the technology is I believe still patented and not available to the firearm manufacturers.
"You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."
"What we get away with isn't usually the same as what's good for us"
"An extended slide stop is the second most useless part you can put on a 1911"

"While Ruger DA revolvers may be built like a tank, they have the aesthetics of one also,
although I suppose there are a few tanks which I owe an apology to for that remark"

law won't be going into effect anytime soon. The NRA had a poison pill inserted so that as long as the technology is under patent, the law won't go into effect.

So, if the company that holds the patent wants to abandon the patent, the law could go into effect. But since that company was pushing for the law, that they were the sole source for the technology (read, they stood to make money off the patent if all gun manufacturers had to license the patent), that isn't likely any time soon.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

Not going to happen and if it did any gun available to you today would be available to you after it started providing they don't fall off the roster.

I'd look for the roster to fall before the stamping ever sees the light of day. GO GENE!
I move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.

When I hit the lotto I'm only shooting factory.

Just read that Wisconsin is voting to pass the micro stamping law. This just sucks.
