Recently, I've gotten a number of pistol magazines that will not go all
the way into the magazine well of some of my pistols. They get stuck and
nearly need to be pried out. Some end up short by as much as an inch. Any
ideas what may be causing this? Have others had similar problems? I can
see nothing snagging, and the magazines look dimensionally the same to my
eye - sorry, no calipers around. Most of these are aftermarket, but some
are supposedly original. This has happened to a number of pistols (Ruger
P-85, CZ52, Makarov, Iver Johnson TP22)
