adjusting sights

Hello.
I need to adjust the sights on my hand gun would like know what distance to
adjust to 20 yrds?

Need more info. Is it shooting high, low, right, left. Are the sights adjustable? What kind of gun is it? Not saying you are a bad shooter but have you let a good shooter try the gun and what was the result?

It is a high point c9 that has had the slide replaced. My father adjusted the sights for me before the slide was replaced, but my father has passed away so now It is up to me. I watched him do it before but can't rember the distance. I have his rest to set the firearm on.
I shot the gun last week at sac valley and the gun shot low and to the right.
which is how if I rember the gun shot before my father adjusted it. but like I said that was with the old slide.

I am sorry about your father. The holidays remind us how much we miss them.

As for the gun if it has a allen nur loosen it and move it right to shoot right and left to shoot left. If it is shooting low it needs a lower front sight.
