    Uzi "sled" help

I'm considering one of PRK's UZI pistols, but I need help understanding what a "single shot sled" is, and more importantly, can this thing be converted back to a normal "Uzi" when I leave this state? I tried the so-called "search" function, but it returned no matches for keyword: Uzi. Surprising.

The sled is a magazine that is modified to hold no rounds. It, when fixed into a pistol, makes the pistol a single-shot pistol, and exempt from the roster (assuming the rest is dimensionally compliant - barrel length and overall length requirements met)

Once you DROS the pistol and take it home, you can change out the magazine to a normal detachable magazine (assuming there is no forward grip on the UZI-clone).

You can use the "CGN Google Search" link at the top of the page to search for terms with 3 or less letters.

You have answered my question completely. Thanks. I just opened my wallet and said farewell to ~1200 clams.
