how reliable is RIA 1911?

i'm looking to buy a RIA 1911 and i saw one at sportsmen supply for $279 i think. how are they? i'm not sure what model is it, but that's a pretty good price for a beginner 1911 dont you think?

Pretty reliable. It never jammed on me, except when I used 300 rounds of Wolf ammo.

The RIA is reliable if you shoot FMJ ball ammo. I tried shooting semiwadcutter lead bullets and they had feeding problems. If you can get one for $279, buy it because that's a very good price.
