    I want this pistol

There is a pistol SIG TRAILSIDE at my local gun dealer that I want. It is on the olympic exempt list, but he wont sell it to me because I don't have a note from mommy (olympic coach). How do I get one of those without joining into some league? There is a place in Canada that will ship to the U.S., but of coarse only to an FFL who can't transfer it to me. My Granddaughter is at College in N.C.,and can transfer it to me, but she's only 19 and can't buy it. Please help!

I didn't know you have to have a note from a coach. Learning something new everyday.

you can take certification tests to become a coach. its not hard i did it for archery. although it may be different with guns

That's going to cause me a lot of research.

                  Sig trailsides

I don't really love mine. It is not as accurate as I thought it would be and it is picky about the ammo or it has feeding problems. Maybe it is just my copy of the gun. Your mileage may vary. They come up from time to time on the for sales listings for around 550~700.

The price is awful steep on the model 87, I can get a smith model 41 for only $1000
