Will probably suffer from same problems as the 22 Jet that was made by S&W, the Model 53.

The 22 jet was much like a minature 30/30 Winchester, a 357Mag casing that was necked down to 223 caliber. You could get around 2400fps with 35-40grn bullets from that little gun but problem was the neck would push forward if you went much over 2200fps, as the neck pushed forward the head of the casing would wedge against the recoil plate tying up the gun. The amount of oil used in the chambers could accelerate the problem as well.

I doubt very much that a 223Remington revolver will catch on, the 22 Jet got marginal success by those who knew how to reload for it and it has a much less pronounced neck with MUCH lower chamber pressures.

The Raging Hornet got certified right after The List was instituted, so the .223 isn't out of the question.

Great. Now .223Rem will be handgun ammunition.

Already is and has been for a long time.

Thompson Contenders being offered in 223Rem for a long time plus with both Olympic Arms, Professional Ord, and Bushmaster all having AR15 pistols.

223Rem is nailed by the same "AP handgun" regs as 7.62x39mm is thanks to readily available handguns. SS109 won't be going away though, not a high enough percentage of it's mass is attributed to hardened metal.

                        Why? Taurus makes great revolvers.

I'd buy one for sure if I could get one.

Are you serious? I gave a long response in the last taurus thread about what I thought of them. I personally had one go off timing after just a couple times of shooting it and caused my face to bleed. Ive had two taurus handguns and both were junk. Thats why I said "damn. too bad its made by taurus."

I wonder up to what range in INCHES that thing will be able to achieve fragmentation.

No, I didn't read your other post. Man, I can see why you would never want to touch another. If I had a face full of lead and copper I'd feel the same way
