I am going to be buying a Glock 9mm soon, What would my fellow cal gunners preffer 19 or 17? And Why? Both are available RTF correct?? I have personally shot both, I shoot both VERY well and am leaning toward the 19 due to concealability but I want your feedback.

19, it's easier con conceal carry than the 17. -
19. The 17 is kinda wasted in California when you can't take advantage of the 17 round capacity magazine. Everything the 17 can do the 19 does just fine and its size is just right for most people.Originally posted by cvigueComment

This is a decision you and YOU alone can make. What other co-members will be posting is only OPINION based on thier experience. A freindly suggestion would dictate whichever feels good on your hand and which one you shoot accurately will the right one for you. Nothing else matter.Comment

Either, they're pretty much the same. I like my standard mags in my 17 or my 26.There are 3 kinds of people in this world.

I've heard that internationally, you're more likely to run across a Glock 19 than any other pistol (or was that any other Glock?).Strong people are harder to kill than weak people, and more useful in general - Mark RippetoeComment

split the difference and go with 18......oh wait, we can't in kaliforniastein. I think that the 17 has more aftermarket options (you can make it a badass little carbine with a kit) but i think you're right about the concealment of the 19 being "better".....but that just depends on your size and where you like to conceal. they seem like essentially the same, so whatever your more comfortable with i would say gow with that one.
here's something cool you can do with a 17...you know, once you move out of california...

Get G 19 better , or get Glock 34 is much better then 17 if U want more target shooting.Comment
