Para ord 14.45 mag

Im looking for some feedback on magazines for my 14.45. How is the quality of Promag, Mecgar and other aftermarket mags. $50 for a Para factory mag seems a bit high.

This is one instance that I'd take Promags over Mecgars. The Mecgars are a little undersized and don't fit as securely as the Promags. The factory ones are still the best though. If you get factory or Promag, get the plated ones.

P-14 mags?

First, are these self defense magazine or "play" mags? If this is a "Serious Social Working" gun, then I'd trust nothing but OEM/factory mags.
You get what you pay for in the magazine world I've found. MecGar makes many OEM magazines for various manufactures and I use them in other guns. I have no Para experience with anything other than the factory mags.
Budgets are what they are, if you get a bad magazine, mark it and you now have a "training aid". All of us have them, bad mags we use when we want to practice malfunction clearing.

Get the factory mags. The promags are junk and the mecgars don't fit correctly. I know the factory mags are expensive but they're worth it.
