    Winchester Ranger Ammo.

So i got screwed on a deal and now i have ammo i don't need and don't plan on getting a 40. cal pistol any time soon, need to finish AR.

So i was going to acquire a glock 22. I took care of my end but the person could not take care of there side. I had purchased ammo from the same person i was going to get the gun from and they told me it was Winchester Ranger. I honestly don't think it's Winchester Ranger and now i have alot of ammo. Also the ammo was given to me loose because it was stored in ammo cans.

This is the only pic i have of the ammo , i know it's hard to see.

what makes you think it isnt Ranger ammo?
How about a few pics of the bottom, top, and overhead view of 1 round of this "suspect" ammo...

I carried Winchester Ranger in my duty weapon and now retired, still carry it in my ccw. That said, I can't tell what that is you have. Perhaps if you can take a close up of a round from different angles, one of the ammo gurus can give you the correct info.

Thats ok I thought the post said RANGE ammo not ranger. Couldn't understand how hollow points could be range ammo. I need sleep.

It may be Ranger but it's not "T" series.

"T" series has scalloped shaped cuts around the edge of the ogive.

Ok, i been looking at pics of ranger ammo and i think there the T-series.

Now another question . I payed 60 for 100 rounds. Was that a good deal?
I just want to know whats a fair price before i post them for sale.

i really doubt its the t series because the t series has nickel plated cases.

It looks like Ranger to me, not the civvy sale version (SXT), but the LE JHP rounds. It's good ammo. $60 for 100 rounds isn't a STEAL, but you didn't get ripped off either. Pretty fair deal. Find a guy that shoots/carries .40 and you should be able to get what you paid for it.

i have to agree that it isn't the T-series

it is Ranger, we used to use it (180gr) for practice before we switched over to the Ranger "T"
