Does anyone know any good places to scout for ammo in Calaveras or Tuolumne County? I'm planning to check out the Walmart in Sonora, but there must be other places the hunters go for theirs, right?

Big 5 and Walmart in Sonora used to be the best sources, but they've been wiped out for a while now. You might get lucky if you get there right after a shipment, but I have no info on when those are. Another good source is in Jackson...J&S Wholesale. They have discount prices in bulk. Check their website for inventory: http://www.bargainammunition.com/.
