    Help!

So I want to buy a Glock 17 in OD green and no one seems to have one in stock (socal) so I found one at buds gun shop for 494$ so I figure I'd go with that right. Then I start calling all the gun shops I Previously called to get the amount for a transfer fee and they all want $120 to get this $170! What the hell is up with that?! Is that just a way of keeping buyers from going elsewhere? Anybody know what ffl has the lowest transfer fee? Or better yet a glock 17 in od green in stock for under $550? Night sights are not needed as I already have tru-glo tfo's for the g17. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks people!

Buy a black frame 17. They are all the same. A lot of stores have black ones.

I think the reason why OD Glocks are so rare is because they aren't on the approved CA handgun list.

I'd check gunbroker.com or the marketplace forums here for a used one if you really want one in OD.

Nope. All OD Glock models are on the approved list, including the one the op is looking for:

I saw a TON of OD Green Glocks at Field Time Sports & Guns in Westminster.

Beach and Hazard. Go check them out.

Bright Spot Pawn in Riverside is doing $50 transfer, DROS included, through the end of December.

That's going to be your best deal locally.

Check the list posted in this thread and balance the FFL fee with the distance keeping in mind that you'll be making two trips:

I'm pretty sure that does not include transfer fee.

Correct... the listings in the other thread do not include DROS, only FFL fees.

Like I said... right now, Bright Spot's $25+$25 can't be beat without making 2 trips to Bakersfield or Ridgecrest.
