I noticed that EFK now offers a 9mm conversion barrel for the Glock 29. According to them it doesn't require changing extractor, magazines or springs. Anybody tried one?

i would think a 9mm magazine would still be needed wouldn't it? -
Surprisingly EFK says the factory 10mm magazines work fine. My 29 magazine does seem to hold a 9mm round.Comment

I would not do the conversion. Mags will not be reliable, feeding could be an issue.

That conversion doesn't sound like it would run too well with just a barrel, but if you got some money burning a whole in your pocket then go for it. and give us a range reportComment

I'm sure it'll work, there is no mag that will work for the gun with 9mm feed lips. The 40cal and 9mm are so close the extractor and ejecter should do a fine job of getting the shells out.There are 3 kinds of people in this world.

You should just buy a new Glock 26 and give me your Glock 29 before you hurt someone. I'll dispose of your dangerous Glock 29 free of charge
