i would like somthing with a narrower frame for conceal carry.. i was looking at a taurus 709 slim 9mm or a kahr pm40 any thoughts

Taurus has a following but they also have a reputation for very so-so quality and durability and a horrible reputation for service so I'd just scratch them off your list.

I have a PM40 and it's a good pistol once well broken in. The problem is that they have a brutal recoil. I suggest a PM9 instead.

A third option is to put thin grips on a small 1911 like a Kimber Compact CDP.

Have you considered a .380ACP pistol? That would definitely be easier to conceal than your other options.

Any Kahr would probably do the trick. They are made primarily for the concealed carry market. Gotta go with sholling on the .40, though..them things can really kick. Very hard to get the second shot on target, esp with a smaller frame pistol.

Sig P6 or P225, both are single stack and are easily concealed, reliable and accurate.
Just my opinion and I sure the glockels will soon chime in and tell me no way.
or is it the glockets, or the glockenspiel?

Never shot one but the Springfield Armory EMP looks interesting.

That's on my collection list ...

Any automatic Colt pistol is attractive to me ....
