    Glock 34C anyone?

Hi, local dealer has two new ones and I'm tempted to buy one to beat the hell out of it at the range, so I can leave my rare Beretta virgins in the safe when I go shoot.
Has anyone tried the 34C? Impressions?
    Thanks.

I've got a standard Glock 34 and I can't imagine it needing any kind of porting. The thing has so little recoil it's ridiculous. I actually didn't even know that Glock produced a Glock 34C.

Why would you want a compensated Glock 34? There isn't a competition that I know of that you could use it in and still be competitive.

I don't see a 34c on Glocks website. I don't think you would notice any difference in a compensated 34 anyway. I love my 34. You can't go wrong with that pistol.

Hmm, why would you want a 34C for? I have a 17C and it has the same recoil as my 34. All I know is that most Competition Organizations you join using a G34 makes you join the Pro Class/Ranks. I honestly love shooting my all stock G34, it came with the 3.5# trigger and extended slide lever which I do not even use. But it is still one heck of a good gun to use when I am trying to get tight groups out at the range. Go with a G34 non C, but hey it's your money so spend it however you like.

I see guys saying the same thing about .22 long rifle but you see a lot of target shooters with compensated .22 pistols. I don't think the amount of recoil is the issue, I think it's about staying on target.

I have a feeling that the OP thought that the opening on the top of the slide, between the front sight and breechface, is for porting, and not for reducing the mass of the slide, to bring it closer to that of the Glock 17 slide. The Glock 34C does not exist, at least as a pistol that is offered by Glock.

Lunde is correct. Sorry guys, I thought it was a porting hole on the top of the slide, while it's indeed more like a balance factory mod.
Nevertheless, thanks for the feedback on the 34 all.

Get the Glock 34 you will be amazed.like this gun better than anything else I've shot or owned.

My only dislike of mine was the stock sights, change those and welcome to the dark side
