    Beretta PX4 sub compact

These are not on the approved list yet. Anyone seen one, or know if Beretta will have them added to the list? The full size in 9mm and .40 type F and G are on it. I have tried several subcompacts for off duty carry and have not been happy with any of them, but I really like the look and features of this one. I just stumbled across it online, so any info would be appreciated. Thank you.

since you mention off duty, is it safe to assume your a sworn officer, I don't think the list would apply to you.

i dont think the px4 storm subcompact has a loaded chamber indicator, so i wouldn't expect it to get on the list any time soon.

if you're a LEO tho, the list doesnt apply to you.

Chamber indicator, another extra unnecessary feature that just over complicates the gun.

Yes, I am LE but have never gone through the process of getting something that is not on the list. I think if I can get it, why can't any other law abiding citizen?

Because we "need" a loaded chamber indicator I guess. Too bad though because I have a normal PX4 and would love the sub compact to go with. But then again I want a CX4 to make it a trio, but thats not going to happen. Sorry I'll quit whining now. If you do happen to get you hands on the SC let us know what you think. I've been able to handle one but haven't been able to shoot it.

I handled one the other day- seemed "chunky" and blocky for a subcompact..

Don't forget the new magazine safety requirement too.

I wouldn't count on any new semi-auto items added to the list unless they were designed with those features from the get go.
