Does anybody have any experiences with the Heritage Arms SA in .45LC? I am thinking of getting one.

not 45LC but have played with their Rough Rider 22 SA.

they are a little sloppy and rough finished but ok for basic shooting. trigger pulls also nothing to brag about. has that little post safety on the left side.

now 45LC will do lot more punishment on parts than 22LR so you gotta figure usable life decrease - i think they have a lifetime warranty though.

my take is get it for cheap shooting and don't expect too much. If you want good trigger, quality and reliability spend double/triple the money and get the ruger.

The .22 is neat for only 199. However, the .45 id stay away from. If you never can afford it then go ahead but I'd save up..

the shop I work at just got one in. out of the box it didnt work. cant cock the hammer all the way back, the lock up is loose. Guns are tools. Cheapo chinease tools wont last and sometimes wont work. Matco will always work. Spend a little more and get yourself a Berreta or a Ruger.

Whats your take on the Beretta? I went into Turners (I know, I know) the other day and was going to pick up a New Vaquero. Turns out, I really didn't like the single click hammer. Just didn't seem right on one of those type pistols. I looked at the Beretta and really liked it but was hesitant due to a lack of knowledge on my part about their quality.

Any thoughts?
