Hey guys, went to Turner's in Fountain Valley to do a PPT with a fellow Cal gunner lastnight. First, let me start by saying I was pleasantly surprised by the service I got. There was an older gentleman and a young asian kid working the counter. The asian kid was incredibly attentive. Every time I eyeballed a gun he asked if I wanted to handle it, and was more than willing to take it our of the glass case or off the wall. (I'm used to the employees acting like I'm bothering them or they are doing me a favor by taking a gun out of the glass case when I ask to look at it) I must have fondled about 6 guns (including 3 glocks) which leads to this question. I hear that the grip angles on the Glocks are a common complaint with people. I handled a g26 and g19, and to be honest, I barely notice a difference between the Glocks and my XD45. Did they change the grip angles on the newer generation Glocks? On a side note, I asked the older gentleman if he thinks Turners will ever carry Saigas (since they seem more lax'd on the guns they carry now) and he said "No, way. Way too grey area and the CA DOJ will never give them a straight answer about it's legality." I was bummed because I was hoping to pick up a Saiga in the future, but don't want to have to do a road trip.

As the generations have changed with glocks, they pretty much just added finger grooves. Most of the complaints come from girly small handed men who can't handle the ruggedness of a glock.
They are coming out with a 4th generation glock (were currently on 3rd gen) which is rumored to have interchangeable backstraps. We will see though. -
My XD's and Glocks all feel the same, expect for the safety in the grip of the XD's. Although all my glocks are 3rd gens.Comment
