kel tech makes a relatively cheap 9mm. Prolly better to define cheap, but that one is around 250 if i'm not mistaken. I havent seen a gun that I dont think looks nice!!

If you are looking for a cheap gun for plinking that is ok but if you are looking for something to protect you or your loved ones i would try and get something i know i can count on, I have had people ask me about buying cheap hand guns and I always ask them if you were going skydiving would you buy a cheap parachute? because your are asking it to do the same thing to save your life at that precise moment , Glocks can be had all over for 500 if you just save up a little and you wont regret it great gun.

Buy a used Glock, Springfiled XD, or Smith & Wesson M&P.

All 3 very reliable, decent shooters, not much money

Used Glock. If I was on a budget and getting my first centerfire handgun again, that's the way I'd go.

If you don't like plastic there's the CZ-75B, I love mine and they aren't too pricey.

Or any of the EAA Witnesses that are on the roster won't cost you an arm and they are wicked accurate. I'm an XD guy, but glocks can be had cheap, even a "used" (read hammered on) H&K USP can be had for around $400 or so, but GO TO THE STORES, RANGES etc and find one that fits you, that you can shoot reliably and accurately, and if you don't have the $$$, save up for it. The best gun in the world is useless if you can't shoot it, and a piece of crap is more dangerous than NOT having a gun at all...

New 9mm Glocks are around $500, which is cheap for a new handgun and even people who aren't Glock fans have to admit they are quality and reliable handguns.
