Can some tell me what is the difference from the regular Kimber Stainless Vs Stainelss II

If you are refering to a kimber stainless 1 and a stainless 2 it would be the stainless 1 doesn't have a firing pin safety. Mark

Pre-series II usually states "Classic."

So, a pre-series II stainless would be "Classic Stainless."

A Series II stainless would be "Stainless II."

but other than that the specs are the same parts wise correct ? i had someone tell me that the stainless I is inferior to stainless II and i at a stuck on what the difference is

It's the other way around. Most look for the pre-series II Kimbers since the Kimber Koolaid drinkers think they're better made. They also lack the Swartz firing pin safety as railroader mentioned.

I own both the pre-series II and Series II models. Fit wise, I'm inclined to agree, the quality on the older one is noticeably better. The Swartz safety is activated via the grip safety, which can be finicky with timing.
