Newbie gun recommendation

GLOCK 19 could as in it could be the only gun you will ever need. Now I have found many reasons to need other guns but ......................the little plastic Walther 22 is a family favorite even though I dislike its size and sights disassembly procedure ect ect.

Go to a range that rents get really comfortable with pistols then get the glock. They are a experienced shooters dream come tru!

The G19 really is a great little gun. It's the gun I take with me everywhere, and I shoot tacticals with it.

A used Glock or a used XD. I have owned both makes and they are both fantastic guns that can be had for fantastic prices right now. Go to a range, shoot both, and make your choice. The grip angles and overall feel are different between the two guys, obviously, so just pick the one you work best with.

My first gun was a .357 magnum. Loved it!

Starting off with a .22LR makes a lot of sense, because when your new all that matters is practice and more practice, plus you want develop the bad habit of flinching with a .22

My first pistol was a Ruger single six...these can be had for about $250. Super simple gun with little to go wrong. Spend the $150 on ammo....by the time your done you'll be able to shoot the balls off a chipmunk at 50 yards
