    1911 light rail

Well I'm going to do it! I'm going to buy a used Kimber custom II for 650$ while I wait for my Kimber warrior. My question is, is there a way to add a light to it? I Know it doesn't have a rail but I've seen adapters for Berattas and I was wondering if there are any for 1911's also I might want to refinish it in a year or two any good references?

I wouldn't bother, if you're going to have a Warrior as well, why not leave he Custom II sans rail? But if you do want one, Dawson Precision makes a nice bolt on rail, you'll need to have a gunsmith drill & tap the frame for the allen screws.

Sure! Try the search words: 1911 picatinny rail

      surefire.com

      brownells.com

      And non-Picatinny rails by dawsonprecision.com
