where to get cz52

CZ52's are exempt from the "safe handgun" roster because they are C&R. So you can just order one from any of the online dealers and have it shipped to your local FFL Dealer for transfer to you. AIM will ship them to Dealer FFL's in California. J&G Sales in Arizona will too and the overnight shipping might cost a bit less from them since they are so close.
If you have a C&R FFL then you can travel out of state (to J&G Sales for example) and buy one in person. You just need to register it as soon as you get back to California by mailing in Form FD4100A and $19 to CalDOJ.__________________

i shoot the Bulgarian stuff from JG Sales. it's corrosive, but so is most of my ammo. just a matter of cleaning...Originally posted by Kestryllwe can not nor should not dismiss or discount my theory that in the dark of night you molest sea anemones by candlelight.Originally posted by TKMShow me on this 1st Amendment bobble-head doll where the mods touched you.Originally posted by Click BoomIt is clear from this thread that citadel grad was the gunman, and Oswald his patsy.Comment

polish ammo is excellent (some of the best from reading) but it does have split necks since they use a punch crimp the necks....
The best part of this CZ-52 and the 7.62x25 ammo is the hi velocity will go through kevlar, and it is steel core.....Comment

Got any proof that it's steel core, lolOriginally posted by EBWhite

Hopefully it's not or the BATF is gonna ban it's importation, but I doubt it is.
I've been shooting my CZ with Sellier & Bellot which is *Winchester White Box* ammo.
I bought some surplus from a show about a year ago, and about every 3rd primer was so hard I'd get a Fail To Fire and have to recock the hammer.
So beware of *OLD* ammo, or repackaged gunshow ammo. This stuff was some kinda surplus from the 50s repacked into new boxes for about $120/1000 at the time.
My gun runs 100% with the WWB or S&B ammo. I'd take my CZ anywhere, its my 2nd fav. budget shooter (behind the Makarov)

i think it's steel jacketed, not steel cored. kinda like wolf and silver bear...Originally posted by EBWhitepolish ammo is excellent (some of the best from reading) but it does have split necks since they use a punch crimp the necks....

Umm, it's not steel-cored. Steel JACKETED in a lot of cases (surplus... Romanian, for example, I can testify is steel-jacketed), yeah, but steel core being explictly illegal at a federal level... Umm. No, it's not steel-cored.Originally posted by EBWhiteThe best part of this CZ-52 and the 7.62x25 ammo is the hi velocity will go through kevlar, and it is steel core.....
It does have better penetration against Kevlar than a .357, though. I'd bet it has quite a bit lower amounts of penetration through stuff like flesh, though, since the bullet is a LOT lighter. It's probably not the horrendous over-penetrator people think it is.
I like my CZ52. It's a lot of fun to shoot. Just make sure it's clear downrange and at your 4-5 o'clock... that brass can fly about 15 feet!
I've shot a good amount of surplus. No restrikes needed using Romanian, but Miwall-distributed stuff in white boxes had a HIGH amount of hard primers. The Wolf HP ammo seems to work well.
I swapped to the Stage 2 firing pin/trigger improvment from Makarov.com's CZ52 section... And some stock-look plastic grip panels... and a heavier recoil spring. The pin that holds my takedown block on, and holds the slide lock in was chewed up and kept falling out, so I put in their threaded slide lock retainer. It can't fall out now.
Their slide release tab thing didn't work, though... too thick. Project for another day.
Don't bother with the aftermarket mags. I bought two and only one works properly. The follower on the bad one doesn't go all the way to the top. Eventually, I'll try a Wolff +10% spring in that one and see if it fixes it.sigpicNRA MemberOriginally posted by Deadbolt"We're here to take your land for your safety"

Seriously, i read on a forum that the polish is steel core. I have never cut one open but again, it is hear-say
There is a site they did a test on a US military kevlar helmet and only the cz ammo went through everytime. No other pistol ammo could do it.
