    Cowboy action ammo availability?

I'm looking for some .44 Special cowboy loads for my uncle. Does anyone know of a good place to source this in the LA/SGV/IE area? I've contacted Ten-X, but they're pretty much out. I'd appreciate any help.
Then another horse PONY came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a huge sword. My kinda guy.

Give Walker 47 a call. They are in anaheim.
Taiwan born, Chinese descent, red white and freaking blue America citizen.

Gun Control - A theory espoused by some monumentally stupid people; who claim to believe, against all logic and common sense, that a violent predator who ignores the laws prohibiting them from robbing, raping, kidnapping, torturing and killing their fellow human beings will obey a law telling them that they cannot own a gun.

I tried them but they're out. Also tried Gunslingers in Glendora with similar results.

      Any other ideas?

What is the difference between Cowboy Shooting .44 Specials and what I am shooting in my Ruger Blackhawk?

I haven't seen any ammo but I see Trail Boss stacked high in every gun store I go into and, in several stores it's the only powder they have. Don't any cowboy shooters reload?

Cowboy loads are lead round nose, usually loaded to lower velocity. The idea is to only use ammunition that is similar to what was actually available at the time. Hence, FMJ and hollowpoints are out. WCs and SWCs aren't popular, either.

To tell the truth, I'm not sure why he doesn't load his own. Odin knows he loads every other cartridge under the sun. If I were to guess, I would say that he may be out of brass and would just as soon buy loaded ammunition.

I load my .44 Specials with SWCs and light loads. It would not be a problem to switch to round nose bullets. A whole lot cheaper than store bought.
