Looking for an FFL in the Sacramento area. Although I have one I currently bring by business to there's a certain firearm he won't accept. It's an older charter arms undercover and although an older model I believe it still fits under the same category as the current undercover model on the roster. I respect his decision but if it can be done I sure would like to acquire a good ole' revolver. I just want a second opinion on the legality of it being imported into the state. Thanks.

Please PM or email me.
I can help you out. -
I'm looking for one as well.
I'm interested in starting to buy online, out of state for some guns I can't find around here and can only seem to find dealers charging $75.00 or better to do it.
Several years ago I did it quite a bit up north of here and had several dealers for $25.00 plus DROS which I found acceptable, $75.00 I do not.-Tim-Comment

Because it is a fact that the DOJ monitors these boards & I'd rather not post FFL info here in public.
Which I guess is moot, as the DOJ already has the info of all FFLs in this state....(that just occurred to me).
Just call me paranoid. But that doesn't mean they aren't out to get me.

Robert Venkus is great to deal with. Knowledgeable and super nice. He will not deal with oll's or anything that would in a gray area. Charges $55 total.
Drjones, if your ffl does oll transfers, could you please pm me his contact info and how much he charges. Thank you

Here's an FFL who operates out of both Sacramento and Colfax. Name of Kern, but danged if I can remember his first name! Email is kern@jkmustang.com. He is at J&K Mustang parts in Sacramento several days a week, that is where I DROS'd a Stag-15 he had in stock. He has no gun shop, and I don't know if he has any more Stag-15s in stock. Cell phone is 916.531.6153 but it is not always online, depending on where he is. Be patient, he does return calls and email, btu it may take several days.Mention the Deacons for Defense and Justice and make both left and right wingnuts squirmComment

Well, since it's already posted here, no sense in PM'ing...
Kern is my guy for OLLs. I forget how much he charges, but he's great to work with and reasonable on his prices.
I will also add that Bob has done many, many transfers for me and is a super individual.
It's too bad that he doesn't do OLLs, as I'd love to give him that business, but he chooses not to & I respect his decision.Comment

I asked on my last OLL DROS, and he said he was fine with free publicity. He's alright, very easy going.Originally posted by DrjonesUSAWell, since it's already posted here, no sense in PM'ing...

Well, I spoke w/ Mr. Kern and he's ok with accepting the transfer however his fees are on the high side. If it was Bob's fees I wouldn't think twice and the gun would already be on its way to him. I'll have to sleep on this one and see if the gun is worth it or how bad I want it.Comment
