HELP PLEASE!! my mk3 is bOrked

The gun appears to be assembled properly, but it will not fire. this happened before and i just took it apart/put it back together and it worked fine, but now i have no idea whats wrong with it.

    thanks in advance.

Can you give more information about the problem? Its hard for us to read your mind over this forum.
Is the hammer dropping? Did you check the firing pin? Is the action loading and locking a round properly?

Unlatch the mainspring housing. Pull it up so you can see the hammer strut. Put the mag in the gun, pull the trigger and use a pencil or something to push the hammer forward. The strut from the hammer has to be above the crosspin in the frame. When the hammer is forward, point the muzzle staight up and while holding it up, close the mainspring housing and latch.

This aligns the hammer strut with the mainspring cap.

              Call Ruger on Monday.

You need a Engineering degree to field strip one of those.

Make friends with your hammer strut.

If it was a snake, it would have bit me.
