    Handgun registration.

This may seem like a silly question, but here goes. Buying my first handgun soon - a Glock 17.

The silly question is once I buy it and it sits in jail for 10 days while the background checks go through, I assume it automatically gets registered under my possession in Kalifornia, does the registration itself lapse or expire ever? Do I need to do anything in that regard after purchasing it?

I forgot to ask the clerk at the Gun store and it's eating at me now after business hours.

    Thanks in advance.

It becomes registered in your name once you DROS'ed it. It lasts as long as you're in possession of the firearm.

        Moderator function I believe.

One more thing, anytime you move in CA, when you notify the CA DMV that you've moved the DOJ updates your information for your registration- so there is nothing you need to do.

"Sporter" is what the drooling toothless inbred albino with the hacksaw thinks his newly created "dear riffel" is.
"Bubba" is what he and his ugly and ruined rifle really are.
First you are chopping up historic vintage rifles and sticking them in cheap and nasty looking plastic "dildo" stocks that look like some kind of futuristic sex toy that gay space aliens stick up each other's butts.
