I wanted to get something that is 10 rounds because I feel the gun is made for that use of 10 round magazines. Considering G26 but I don't want to get something so common. So anyone have experience with the CZ RAMI 2075. It's a shortened version of their famous CZ75 weapon.

I am not a huge Glock fan but own a G26. It really has everything when talking about size, capacity, reliability, resale, getting worked on or aftermarket parts. Whatever else you get will not have all this. Oh yeah it shoots well also. Lastly they are not to expensive. I bought a used one for $400 and if i ever sell guess how much I will ask.Comment

Since you probably won't be carrying in CA I'd recommend a Glock 19. it is .5" longer, same 10 rounds, still concealable.
Whether it be a 17, 19, 26 or 34 Glock 9mm pistols are Accurate, Reliable and practically Indestructible.Comment

You might consider the Browning Hi-Power in 40 S&W. A 10 round mag is standard in that caliber.
FN redesigned it (beefed up the slide, added a locking lug and cast a stronger frame) to handle the high pressure round, but they kept the grip size the same.
The grip fits most hands, it has a low bore axis and the same operation as a 1911. But I digress, I like 1911s.
But for a light and concealable 9mm, +1 for the Glock 26.Comment

I don't get it?
whats the point in limiting your self to just a few models because they are made for a 10 round mag. There are a lot of pistols that are made for higher cap mags but they make the 10 to substitute in there place. This opens up a lot more models to choose from...... and if you ever get the hell out of kali.. you can get higher cap mags......

Get a SIG P228 or P229.
Or, get a 1911 with a Wilson 10 round mag for rapid fire dead on accuracy out to 25 yards.sigpic

will consider your advice guys. I just felt like a 10 round mag on a full size gun was sooo stupid. like sort of a handicap or something.Comment
-
That's why you keep 16rd. rebuild kits so when SHTF!
Also its not a handicap at all, it does not make us give up on full size guns.

XD is another excellent polymer gun to consider in addition to the Glock. I have a small one (XDSC9mm) but it is my daily ccw gun and has been for over 6yrs.
I have never had a problem with it other than SA had to change the rear sights as they were mismatched. They paid for shipping and the sight; no charge to me. The newer ones have the melonite finish, which is the same as Glock's tennifer finish.
Mine is the older one, so there is wear from the Kydex IWB holster. No rust issues tho and they make a 4" and 5" in various calibers.Comment

Alternative that meets your spec.
You're saying that you want a handgun that is specifically made for the number of rounds it carries. How about a six shot revolver? You can proudly load all six chambers with ammo and no law requires you to "download" the gun.
