My first 1911 is the PM7 10mm. I could not be happier with the gun and power of the 10MM.
My question is this - Is there any special technique in getting the slide stop to drop completly into place without using an object to compress the compression pin on the right? Instead of pushing hard the last 2/10ths of an inch on the slide stop to the frame, I use a small flat screw driver to push in on the compression pin and then the slide stop falls in its final place. Excuse my lack of experience here as I'm new to the 1911 take down and re-assembly process.
