      It's a wonderful gun and are Cali legal just not on the Roster... big difference... If you can find someone in CA to PPT it you they now make 10 rd mags for it so you don't have to modify the original mags.

          It is a great gun. It's the only one I bought when I was living in MI. In hindsight, I should have picked up the standard P30 too (I bought the L). And the HK45 on top of that.

              PPT = Private Party Transfer. In CA it's the only practical way for common folk to own off roster handguns. So if a peace officer decides they want the P30 and realize after buying it that they don't like something about it, they can sell it to you via face to face PPT. Another way would be if someone bought it while they were a resident of another state and moved into CA with it.

                  PPT = Person Person Transfer.

                  All PPTs are exempt from the roster. There are 3 common ways to have a non rostered pistol in California.

                  1-LEO are exempt
                  2-A new resident can bring it when they move here(minus hi cap mags, unless disassembled)
                  3-Intra Familial Transfer from Out Of State relative(Father/Grandfather/Son, no brother/sister, cousins, etc..)

                  If someone has a non rostered pistol they can sell it to another resident if they both meet at the same FFL.
                  I think it can be confirmed that an alien xenomorph is absolutely no match for good ole' Alabama black snake!

                  and

                  If you're in a survival movie and the hot blond twists her ankle and can't walk, you damn well figure a way to carry her. If it's a dude, you shake his hand and say "best of luck".

                              You can order the knife from hkwebshop.com, the number is HK14650. I think they're a limited run but it's still on the site. Mine is numbered 140 of 500. But then it could just be marketing. Either way, the handle matches the gun so it became a "must have" for me.
