Beretta Cougar 8000 F (L)? Please help me out

Anyone know if this is ok to dros in CA? It's an 8000 F but also has the L on it for light which is not a different model but just a lighter version. I've heard mixed opinions on this, if anyone knows for sure please do let me know!

    Thanks as always!

Interested in a Cougar 8000 myself. Its now made by Stoeger in Turkey isn't it? Does that effect DOJ roster. Anyone know if I can get this new in Cali? If yes, anyone know a shop that has it in stock?

      ....

I know Stoeger is a no unless you get a PPT one, Beretta's are on the ca list but I found one online that is 8000 F which is on the list but it also has a L on it meaning light model of the same gun/model. Wondering if that makes a difference or since it's a 8000F it's good to go.... Kinda confusing....
