AR pistol question.

I know that an AR pistol has to come into the state complete in a single shot configuration. One can not build an AR pistol at home as they could a rifle. Once the pistol goes home after dros it can then be configured to hold 10 rounds. My question is this, once the pistol is in your posetion and the lower is marked "pistol" and has been drosd as a pistol, can the owner then PPT simply the lower to someone else not as a rifle lower but as a pistol lower? The reason I'm asking is because I want an AR pistol lower to build an AR pistol. I don't want to buy a complete AR pistol as they are over priced. I know I can't simply walk into a store and buy an AR pistol lower to build one, however, could it be PPTd to me from someone who already ownes one? If so, anyone want to help me out and sell me one? Or help me find someone willing to sell me one?

Yes, because the whole single shot while the gun is complete exemption is bypassed via a private party transfer. Minimally, I would at least have a lock installed on the stripped frame.

Thanks guys! Now, do me a favor and sell me one of your lowers . I want one bad. I am in the process of drosing a Draco AK pistol. I have an AR15 rifle and an AK47 rifle. Im getting the little brother for the AK47, I would really like one for the AR15.

Curious how you obtained that, did it come from out of state already built as a pistol?
