Sig P6 Breech block re-assembly help

I decided to get my p6 deep cleaned for the first time. I used the todd mckenzie youtube vid and it was easy to get the roll pin out but after I got dissasembled and oiled I tried to get it back together I noticed that the hammer isn't striking the back of the firing pin. I was wondering if anyone could help me make sure I have things lined up correctly. Pics/Vids. tips???
Please help so I can get it back together tonight! :-) you guys are great.

On my P6, the hammer doesn't look like it's hitting the back of the firing pin after the hammer drops even though it is working correctly. To check if your hammer is hitting your firing pin, first clear the gun of any ammo, stick a pencil (eraser side in first) then while pointing the gun upwards, dry fire the gun. If everything is working right, the pencil should shoot out of the gun. Obviously be sure to not have anything above the pencil when it comes flying out of the gun as it can be dangerous.

William I am going to be out most of the day. But if you have an issue still after doing the above test, you can try and call me. Cant guarantee I ll be here. But never hurts to try.

Basically the post above hits the nail on the head. Try that and go from there.

      Good luck
      Todd

Also, the pistol has a built-in firing pin block so if you push against the hammer it will not strike the firing pin.

But, if you safely dry fire it and hold the trigger back (don't release it), you can take your other hand and push the hammer into the firing pin. You will feel it strike against the back of the pin and some slight spring resistance and is pushes slightly forward more.

Sorry I didn't spell your name right Todd McKechnie. I was frustrated and didn't feel like checking my spelling on it. :-) Um, the pencil kicked out a bit and it was re-assuring. Todd, I think I got it but I might call you tomorrow to make sure I'm good before I shoot it. I was just worried about the rotation of of the firing pin in the block. Oh and Todd, I bought your medium trigger for the gun and I love it. Way better than the stock trigger. Within the next few months I plan on getting it Cerekoted by you. Black slide on Black frame.
