crossbreed supertuck w glock issues?

I just got the supertuck holster to use w my glock 35 the other day. It appears I'm having some issues with the mag release button making contact with the holster causing the mag to pop out when sitting/driving. Is this a common supertuck and/or glock issue? (new to glocks too)

I did reposition the holster somewhat and did not have any issues today. If it happens again I might have go back to my previous gun/holster setup

That could create a very compromising problem. I would contact the manufactuer and make sure you got the right holster for your Glock. I'd imagine they're different for each Glock model, or at least most of them.

Do you have an extended mag release button? I can't imagine that there is anything on the body-side of the leather causing pressure around the area where the mag release button is located. I've never had that problem on mine with my G26. With the gun in the holster, I actually have to try somewhat hard to press the mag release button hard enough to release the mag. Seems like when it is being worn, there is no way anything on the body could offer that much pinpointed pressure to hit the release since the leather surface is supposed to be flush against your body. Either way, that is a huge problem and I would contact Mark and tell him your issue. He's known for offering fantastic customer service and backing his products up no matter what.

Why are you trying to ccw a g35 ? I think you would be far better with a 23 or 27

The Glock 34 and 35 are the "tactical" models, they come with the extened mag release standard.
Swap that out and that might work

Thanks, the I guess the exteneded mag release is the issue, it protrudes enough to where it already made quite a mark in the leather of the holster.

I'm new to glocks, where do I get the regular mag release? Is the install a DIY?

use a normal size mag release and scallop the mag release area to get a more tactile release.
