So,

Back in September I made a deal with LAN World for a Sig 556 Pistol. They charged my credit card on September 14th.

I had to explain to thier sales rep about the single shot exemption, and the Bob Sled, zero capacity magazine.

Over the last 25 days they have reported that my new pistol is there, with the BB installed, waiting for the Bob Sled.

Is this normal? Are Bob Sleds hard to come by? Any advice for me. I thought the 10 day wait would be hard, now I know that I will feel like Christmas has arrived, if my pistol will just leave Utah.

Don't know, but why don't you buy one yourself and ship it to them, or rent one from another Calgunner.

Tell them to block off a 10 round magazine so it does not accept any rounds.

this from pkfirearms also works just as well for the purpose of not alowing a magazine to be used. i dont think the bolt hold open will work w it but as far as creating a roster exempt single shot pistol im sure it would be fine. its just a block to clamp into your vice and in the magwell. its under the tools section and is cheap
