Glock 20 or 21 conversions?

It's well known that .40 Glocks can be converted to .357 Sig or 9mm with the appropriate barrels and mags but I've never heard anyone talk about converting a 20 to .45 or a 21 to 10mm. Is this possible with just a barrel and mags? If so, is it like the .40/9 thing where the .40 can be a 9 but the 9 can't be a .40?

I wouldn't mind adding one of the larger frame Glocks to my tupperware collection especially if I could have both calibers on one frame.

Why would I want this? Barrels and mags are cheaper and take up less space than a whole other gun. Also 50% less paperwork and fees to the govt.

.45 acp to 10mm but not the other way around

I looked into this when I got my glock 29 (10mm) and found out that:
I could get a 30 (.45acp) and get a 10mm barrel for it, but not the other way around because of the size of the slide hole for the barrel.

Although now that I think about it, might be able to fit a 30 upper onto the 29 frame???

I assumed it would be similar to the .40/9 conversions which it sounds like it is based on your experience. I bet the frames are identical but may have different ejectors similar to the .40/9 as well.

Cool, then a 21 might well end up in my care sometime next year

You can swap G20/G21 barrels but from what I have read, extraction reliability is compromised.

The Glock 20 can be converted to .40 with only a change of a barrel. Everything else works flawlessly and does not need to be changed.

I know you can also change to a .357sig, and since it's a necked down .40, you should again not see any issues without changing anything other than the barrel.

I don't know how the Glock 21 works with conversions since the magazine has a larger opening than the .40's. So you may need to use a different magazine.

The nice thing with the 10mm is you CAN shoot a .40 or .357sig out of the same gun with little modifications.

I think the G21 also has slightly smaller slide rails then the G20. So it isn't the best to convert a G21 with a G20 slide. I haven't actually compared the two side by side but I remember reading that on the internet. And we all know how reliable the internet is Maybe I'll actually compare them side by side if I'm not too lazy
