    Glock certified armorer

Anyone here a Glock certified armorer?

Preferably looking for someone in the Santa Barbara/San Luis Obispo area.

I know the guy at Ades (in Orange) is a certified Glock armorer, but I'm sure someone can help you out with an armorer that is much closer...

Looks like I might need a 4526(trigger bar). I am getting the run-around from Glock regarding my 2 month old G20SF. The trigger bar is rubbing the inside of the slide and it has an 8 lbs trigger pull with the 5.5 lbs connector. I can actually feel the frame flexing out from the trigger bar when I pull the trigger.

This will bite Glock in the ***. At least it should:

Apparently this is an SF problem. Call Glock and rattle their chains and let them know you're not going away.

Thanks for the FYI.. Good info..

Definitely worth reading if you own a newer SF model... So much for that "Glock Perfection"

This is my 13th Glock. It may very well be my last one. I would not recommend buying an SF model at this time. Glock is being less than helpful.
They are fully aware of the issue but are jerking people around. I was told I would be looking at a minimum of 6 weeks if I sent it in to them. My understanding is that people are getting their SFs back after 13 weeks with grind marks on the TB. "Glock Perfection" indeed!

Yes, I'm certified. I'm in SoCal (LA) area, however.

Well, on the plus side, it took you 13 guns to have a problem. I'd say this is a pretty good track record for any manufacturer. Every company makes a lemon (Glock and HK included), however, this problem isn't on a per gun basis. It's not a batch problem. It's a design flaw with the SF series. Glock simply needs to step up and fix it. If they don't, they'll end up losing in the long run when their name is tarnished. Reminds me of SIG, but I'm hoping Glock is much smarter than this.

                          That's actually about right.
The listed weight of the connector is NOT the trigger pull weight you should expect.
Trigger pull weight is always heavier than the connector weight unless there has been work done.

That has not been my experience. Especially after 500+ rounds. When we checked it, we also checked my new, unfired, properly lubed OD G19 and
it was pulling just under 6 lbs.
I just got off the phone with Glock. The 20SF is going back to them. I will update when I get it back. It will be interesting to see what they do to it.

A pound over the connector rating is normal.
2.5lbs is a bit higher then normal.
