    IMI Uzi Pistol

    So,

I have always really loved the IMI Uzi Pistol, and I have a line on one.

It seems to me to have no evil features. So, I should be able to do a FTF transfer?

But what I can't figure out is...

What sort of holster/sling is functional for this weapon?

Is the owner really expected to walk around holding it?

That does not seem functional for anyone.

    Thanks for your help.

UZI pistol is banned by name in CA.

Constitutionally, officials cannot license or register a fundamental right.

You're dead in the water in California, it's a listed firearm.
The way some gunshop clerks spout off, you'd think that they invented gunpowder and the repeating rifle, and sat on the Supreme Court as well.

There IS a way to make that happen, but it is prohibitivly expensive (figure 4K+ to own one)

Essentially the pistol has to be destroyed and then re-made by an 07 manufacturer.

Talk to PRKarms if your serious, I was looking into this a while back, its completely do-able, but well outside of my toy budget.

as far as a holster, I've seen a few different types, mostly they use a Mac type horizontal hanger with a double strap support arangement.

Its impractical, expensive, and uncomfortable (you can get a micro mac 9mm for less than 700 nowadays)

but if it speaks to you, then go for it.

        different strokes for different folks.

Why destroy it - why not get a parts kit (if you can find one) and build one up from scratch? Keep the original IMI UZI in it's original condition and let the free states enjoy it.
