Pink is good. If someone ever steals all your guns, you'll at least have the pink one left for SD...

My wife convinced me to Duracoat her S&W M&P9 slide pink. She carries that thing everywhere and is so proud of it (because it is HERS I guess). Be careful though, I now have to get her pink AR done by next weekend.

How about the inexpensive Bersa 380, Ruger 22 LR or Magnum revolver or a heavier 9 mm? Also, the Ruger 38 or 357's are quite nice and the stainless steel helps with the kick of more powerful rounds.

If my gal wanted a pink gun, she'd get one. But she hates pink and isn't all that into shooting so it doesn't seem likely. I would love her to get into the sport with me but you can't force it. I just invite her along whenever I go and if she wants to come, so much the better.

As others have said, feel lucky that your gal wants to share a hobby with you and get her a pink gun already!

Okay, read the line... "I think what sparked it, was the pink revolver she saw at CWS the other day." It doesnt say that she wanted it... I think it only opened her eyes to the fact that girls can shoot too, or that not all guns are scary.

We ended up buying a sub-compact 9mm XD at Turners. It fits in her hands perfectly. We have been to the range twice, and so far she loves the gun, but hates the "three dot" sights. I told her it's just a matter of time before she gets used to them, and wont want anything else ever again. Maybe a front sight class?

P.S. Great idea for the 'girlyguns.com'. My wife would love that!
