I got mine December 2000 and out of all of the .45s I own, this is the one I prefer. I take the others out to the range about once a year, just to be sure, but the TRS I take almost every time.

(Besides the TRS, I have a Kimber Warrior 2, Colt GC NM Mk 4 Srs 70, and a Wilson Combat Professional.)

Who/Where did you order it through? Did you go through "Proload"? How long did it take to order? Just curious.... pondering my first 1911 purchase as a TRS or SA TRP/OP.

In my area ( Sacramento), there 2 stores have Les Baer for $1850: WildSports and Rancho Cordova Shooting center. At Wildsports, the Les Baer sat there for a year before sold! At Rancho, the tag is $1850 but the owner is very nice so he sold to me at $1800.
