Just got back from Jackson Arms and breaking in my new-to-me Glock 17 RTF. This is gonna be a short review...Glock got it right with the grip improvements; it's exactly the right amount of tack -- doesn't abrade or chafe at all during recoil.
And of course, it's a Glock, so it just 'works' -- nothing to report functionally/operationally speaking.
Although I admire Glocks and the like, I'm not really a polymer-pistol kinda guy; aesthetically I actually prefer steel over aluminum or airweights, even in revolvers. But it was Lunde's post about his 6" LWD slide on his 10mm G20, that drove me to pick up a G17 when it one came available in the FS forum; I'm looking forward to putting together a 6" longslide package from LWD (with no cutouts for weight reduction) to see what kind of longer range plinking I can do with this sucker.

I don't blame you for being enamored with Lunde's mad photo skills!
