Has anybody heard anything new about its release date?

The G23 is supposed to be the next RTF model to be released, my guess would be the first quarter of 2010.

HMMMMMMMM I highly doubt that, especially the 19. The RTF model was specifically designed due to the complaints of LEO's no being able to properly grip the weapon under stress situations with wet hands. Hence the .40 S&W models were to be released, first full size then compact. There has not been anything about such a release on glocktalk or amongst the GSSF community so I am a bit skeptical

Last I heard on the 23rtf2 is ShotShow 2010 debut then release to follow in the first quarter.

The Glock 23RTF2 and 19RTF2 are out.
Just hard to get because of the demand.
Also, they are currently not on the approved list.

It seems a couple months ago some pictures were posted of that and everyone assumed it was a Photoshop-enabled joke. Ah well, they were never the prettiest in the first place and, more importantly, they work.

I wonder if this will affect the prices of the "old" models. I'm sorta-kinda looking at getting a G19.
