    any pistols for small hands?

i took my girlfriend shooting and we were able to shoot pretty well and we got a few bullseyes at 15 yards. however, both of us are pretty small (i'm 5'4" and she is 5'1") and our hands are pretty small.

we were shooting my HK USP 9mm, which is a pretty big pistol. I, myself, can grip the the pistol pretty firmly, but she is having a hard time gripping the pistol without slightly jerking pistol a little bit after squeezing the trigger.

so i was interested in finding a pistol that is 9mm, double stacked, and small enough for her hands. any suggestions for pistols for small hands?

i heard the springfield xd is a good place to start? or maybe a glock?

    thanks,

Take a look at a Browning Hi Power.

Browning BDM... I have one that I'd like to sell but a lot of the value is the hi-cap mags... so heck I'll keep it.

                  Suggestions

I presume your H&K USP is the full size 9mm version. The USP compact in 9mm has a smaller grip and might fit you better. I have both a full size USP in 45 and a compact in 40, and the compact is definitely smaller in the grip.

If you really want a smaller grip 9mm you could consider a single stack gun like a Sig P239, S&W 3913, or Kahr K9.

Smith & Wesson M&P9 or M&P9c (compact). The grips are quite thin for a double stack and they come with 3 interchangeable backstraps to adjust for any size hand.

Double stack & small hands don't work. What's wrong with single stack ?

                          Browning/FN Hi Power.

If you consider between XD or Glock. Make sure she shoot them first at a rental range. I too don't have a large hand but I find Glock a better fit for me even though XD has a thinner grip. The recoil do make it different.

HK P2000 or P2000SK. They are similar to the USP compact except for location of hammer drop (depending on variant) and the interchangeable backstrap.

Also, take a look at the SW M&P, XD, Glock, CZ P01, BHP or Ruger SR9 among double stacks

I don't have big hands and I think the SIG P226 and P229 fit me pretty good.
These blast points - too accurate for sandpeople. Only Imperial Stormtroopers are so precise.
