Nope. You can purchase one new or used firearm from a dealer once every 30 days. PPT does not apply.

Not to hijack, but I just DROS'd a pistol from a dealer today - so do I have to wait 30 days to START my next pistol DROS process (from the same dealer) or do I only wait 20 days to start DROS and pick the next one up on the 30th day?

Not unless you are in LA. LA has its own 1-in-30 law, and it does not exempt PPTs from it.

The law says that you can't submit more than one DROS application in a 30-day period. It is based on when you start the DROS, not when you pick it the handguns.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

You can DROS another pistol 30 days from the day you drosed your first pistol and that is from any dealer. If you forget and run a DROS within the 30 days it will get kicked back.

Remember that's thirty 24 hour periods.

So if you DROSed on say September 1st at 1:00 p.m., you cannot start your next Dros till October 1st at 1:01 p.m..
